R 5 000.00 Batch Donations to an Optional Free Screen or a Screening Day at Your Business when reaching R 25 000.00 or more.
All Donor Companies can benefit from Section 18A Tax receipts as below:
Cancer Heroes is an approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with number: 930058201. This allows a tax benefit to Cancer Heroes donors. Cancer Heroes may issue Section 18A receipts for bona fide donations, which allows for donations of up to 10% of taxable income to be deducted from such income, as stated in the Act.
* Donations more than the 10% in the current financial year may be transferred to the next financial year for submission, resulting in the opportunity to exceed the 10% donation threshold in any given year.
Donations that qualify for tax certificates can be in cash, cheque, postal order, direct deposit, Snapscan, EFT, or donating via the Cancer Heroes website and or Mobile App, as well as by a debit order or a credit card deduction.
How does it actually work?
If you have generated R100 that is deemed Taxable income that SARS will tax you on, you may donate up to 10% of that amount in that specific financial year to a PBO. This means you donate R10 and your taxable income is then reduced to R90 that SARS will tax you on.
Cancer Heroes can also guarantee that we aim to support more than 75% of the previously disadvantaged South African Black (African, Indian and Coloured) people from previously disadvantaged black communities as per the Annex 500(A) Benefit Factor Matrix of the BEE Codes of Good Practice. You may thus utilise the donation towards meeting these organisational targets of your BBBEE requirements.
